HOW TO INSTALL .PAK MODS

Description

PAK MOD MANAGER (PMM):

Other methods:

1- ~mods folder method:

- Copy the .pak file

- Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\StreetFighterV\StreetFighterV\Content\Paks

- Create a folder there and name it ~mods

- Put the mods .pak files in the ~mods folder and start the game.

PS: You can't use this method with PMM at the same time.

2- Mod Manager (MM) Method By Sonicprogrammer:

Mod Manager Download link: www.fluffyquack.com/tools/modm…

Tips by Sonicprogrammer: I know that you can only have one method applied at a time, so make sure to uninstall PMM from the control panel and delete the PMM folder in the hidden appdata location. If MM is crashing, but reading that you have mods installed, it could be because the length of the file path is too long. That was my problem recently and had to change names of everything to be short. It fixed MM from crashing in my case. I use MM with pak files as well, and with each mod, I have this layout:

foldermodname/StreetFighterV/Contents/Paks/~mods/filemodname.pak

All of that is located in the modmanager/Games/SF5/Mods folder for each mod. It makes doing it the manual way much better and you can still use your pak files.

Naming each mod that way may be a pain, but you only need to do that once, then you can toggle mods on/off with MM instead of the manual way each time you want to swap mods. MM crashed exactly the moment I hovered the mouse over a mod that had a file path that was too long, so try testing that in MM next chance you get.
